Academic staff member in the Department of Curriculum and Instructional Studies, College of Education. Completed doctoral study in Curriculum Studies. Published several research papers in international and national peer reviewed journals. Published two academic text books on economics education and community engagement. Research interest is in cooperative learning approach methods such as Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD), Teams-Games-Tournaments (TGT) and Jigsaw. Specialization area is economics education. Currently using teaching strategies such as simulated economics games, economics cartoons and life history approaches and autoethnographical approach in teacher education. Currently a National Research Foundation rated reseacher in economics education
